Sound Tracks is no longer distributing accompaniment tracks. We
appreciate the patronage you have given us through the years.
It may be that if and when we find a new owner for Clarion, that
the sound tracks will again become available.
However, you may be interested in the new line of accompaniment
tracks especially
designed for instrumentalists but also usable by vocalists. (see
below)

FOR INSTRUMENTALISTS
Are
you weary of performing with tracks designed for singers?
Among the fortunate spin-offs of Jerry Nelson’s experience
as a performer, conductor and writer / publisher, has been the
development of numerous arrangements for instrumentalists. These
arrangements are designed for use with available accompaniment
tracks. They range from quite easy (level 1) to very challenging
(level 5). These instrumentals are also available for recording.
You’ll be glad to know almost all of the titles are “Public
Domain” (no royalties due).
1)
What Instruments are included? Flute / Oboe / Clarinet / French
Horn / Trumpet / Trombone / Alto Sax / Tenor Sax / Violin / Viola
/ Cello. Vocal solos are also available.
2) The “Eagle Premiere
Series” for solo instruments is very unique. Arrangements
in this series (for all instruments except piano) have a basic
staff for levels 1,2 or 3, and an upper staff for more advanced
players (3,4,5). One can easily start out on a lower staff; then
as one progresses, he can jump up to occasionally grab phrases
on the more advanced upper staff.
3) Piano Arrangements –
Many pianists would love to perform and record with Jerry’s
arrangements and tracks. So, after 30 years of exclusive use,
they are now being made available to all pianists. Difficulty
levels are 3,4,5. Watch for upcoming arrangements more simplified,
but designed to fit the same tracks. Note the importance of your
piano being tuned to A-440 unless you have a CD player with variable
pitch.
4) Band / Orchestra –
Jerry has produced a series of Big Band jazz arrangements; you
can hear them by purchasing the “Nazz
Jazz” CD. Scored for trumpets (2 to 4), saxes (3
to 5), and trombones (2 to 4) plus rhythm section charts. A series
of arrangements for full orchestra is now available. Optional
chorals are available with some of these orchestrations.
